Why? It is -18C in Toronto today enough said. Simply put, Im doing things I enjoy and I do not have to go out in the cold. No scrapping ice off the car to get to a job. Nor do I have to endure the cold standing at a transit stop.
I only do those things when and because I want to. If I want to neet a new local client pr friemd for lunch, go to the library to do some research, or treat myself to the science center, I am in control. Better me in control rather than some clock watcher.
If you work from home or not, winter is can be hazardous, so be prepared. Keep some bread and canned meat or fish handy or peanut butter. Also ensure you have flashlights and batteries hand. Yes, it is not only important to have emergency supplies handy, but also to know where they are so you can lay hold of them quickly. Signing off for now. Talk to ya tomorrow.
