cycling in Toronto

For a northern city, Toronto has a crazy amount of bikes. I ride from April to October. Some ride all year round (even in snow. God bless 'em, I am not that robust:) In a congested city with traffic worse than Philly and Atlanta (I have lived  and drove in both places), cycling makes lots of sense for short trips. It also combines 2 things: transportation and exercise.

With our ever growing demand for mobility, energy and automation, I started wondering what uses can we put peddle power to? Any suggests, leave a comment or link to some other tres kool stuff. I will find and add my finding on interesting cycle tech applications over the next few weeks.
