Well, it turned out to be a hot market and my business grew
very quickly.
Recently I read an article By Michael S. Clouse called
"THE WARM MARKET
SECRET: ASK SIX PEOPLE FOR HELP"
When I read it reminded me of the SAME technique that worked
so well for me in my business and I knew I had to share it with you.
Basically, Network Marketing is finding people to sponsor, sponsoring
the people you find, and teaching those you involve to do the same.
"The Warm Market
Secret is to Ask Six People For Help" and everyone knows six people!
The interesting part is, that every one of those six knows
six more you've never met. In turn, they know six more that those six have
never met, and on it goes...until you are connected with thousands of
prospects..
Try this right now!
Go grab a sheet of paper, a pen,
These people can be anyone you know, and this is important,
they must be contacts that you have NOT spoken to about your
business. Write down six names...
That's right just six!
I�m sure you can think of more than 6 names, but stop
writing and let�s go to step 2.
Ok, now pick one name; guess who they know that may be one
of your potential
prospects. If you can�t think of a specific name that they
know everybody knows a
dentist, doctor, minister, etc.
Ok, now do you think
that they might now someone? You see how this works?
If you do not know what to say on the phone (and to be
honest this comes easier to some
people than others) but it is easy to get some help on your
phone techniques because
every Thursday my friend John Meatte gives a coaching call
that will really help. Same
time, same phone number and conf code you used for tonight.
In the mean time let me give you a sample phone script that
I use.
You: Dialing the first number. It�s Dave.
You: Hello Dave, Let me tell you why I'm calling... I've
recently hooked up with an international health and
nutrition company located in the
United States. Dave, this is probably not for you, but you
might know the types of people we're looking for, and I was hoping you could
help me out?
Dave: Well tell me a little about it�
You: It's a health and nutrition company that has very
effective nutritional products.
Dave, this is probably not for you, but you might know the
types of people we're looking for, and I was hoping you could help me out?
You: Again, this is probably not for you, but I'd like you to
take a look at some information on our company so that you're familiar with
what it is we do. And based upon that, I'd like to see if you might know the
type of person we're looking for...
You: Dave, before you put your reputation on the line and recommend
anyone, again I would like you to get a better feel for what it is we do. I can get some
information to you in a number of ways...
So based on what Dave says; send him to your website, print
something out, stop by his house with some of your products as tasting samples,
just do whatever is appropriate.
This approach works well because it eliminates the
possibility of personal rejection. Anybody can do 6 calls, six requests for help, and six new exposures to your
business. Now the POWER of this technique is in actually FOLLOWING THROUGH and getting
them involved, or having them give you six more names to contact...those they believe
might be interested.
Either way you win!
Another six calls, another six requests
for help, another six exposures to your business. And on and
on it goes...
Your six contacts that agree to talk to you will fall into
one of 3 categories. First, they'll take a good look, like what they see, and decide to get involved with you
in the business.
Second, they may become your customers, Third, they may
agree to give you referrals. How you follow-up on those referrals is critical. Most
importantly, This Warm Market technique IS DUPLICATABLE.
Make sure you follow up with your existing MLM downline and teach
them this simple method and follow up with them!
