The most important part of any advertisement is the headline. No one will stop to read your copy unless your headline stops them in their tracks, and gets their immediate attention. Therefore, you must create a powerful headline that tells the reader to drop everything and take a look. The one single factor that will boost the response rate to your advertisement is your headline. The reason is that, on average, for every 100 people who come across your ad, 60 of them will read your headline, but less than 10 will read your copy. To increase those odds, you will need to create a better, more compelling headline. The better your headline, the better chance you will have of your copy being read by a lot more people, and the better your conversions
will be.

So, Whats Up With Your Market?
Before you create your ad headline, you must first understand what your market needs, and then offer them something of value that fills that need. For example, if your market is MLM, then it is likely that the need is getting more sign-ups. Therefore, you must offer a way to get more sign-ups. Once youve done this, you can then begin crafting your ad. It is only when youre aware of the need that you can incorporate it into your ad. But, a great headline is where it begins. You only have a few seconds to grab your potential customers' attention. If your headline doesn't immediately grab their attention, they'll simply ignore your ad altogether. Below are several different headline types used by professional copywriters.

I - How to
"How to Increase Your MLM Sign-Up by 50% Using this Simple Marketing
System"

Headlines beginning with 'how to' are very effective, because many people seek valuable information online. A headline beginning with 'how to' tells readers that you have useful and important information to share, and that it will help them.

II - Question
"Are You Eager to Get More MLM Sign-Ups at Low Cost?"

Headlines written as questions engender curiosity. An inquisitive tone makes readers feel like you can identify with their problems or concerns, and that at one time, you had the same concerns yourself until it got addressed. If the question helps to identify a specific need or issue, and promises to provide a useful remedy, readers will often proceed.

III - Command
"Triple Your MLM Sign-Up Ratio in Just 30 Days"

Headlines written as a command tell readers that your offer is urgent, and demands their immediate attention. It gives the impression that the offer is so great that it cant be passed up. This type of headline is very effective.

IV - News
"Announcing a New Product Launch that Will Get You MLM More Sign-Ups
Quickly

Headlines presented as news flash tells readers that there is a new development that they need to look into further. News headlines are written in the form of an announcement or introduction to new products and services, and can lead to curiosity.

V - Testimonials
"Our MLM Sign-Ups Have Increased by 25%!" Through Traffic Exchanges

Headlines written in the form of a testimonial tells readers that you have personally experienced great results, and that you can show them how they can possibly get similar results themselves. It gives the impression that you are trustworthy and that your information is reliable.

Conclusion
These are the different headline types used by professional copywriters. Use all of these types each time you create your headlines. And, always remember that the better your headline, the better chance you will have of your copy being read by a lot more people, and the better conversions you will have for each of your offers.
